Halloween

Hi! We never usually do anything for Halloween, but this year we thought we'd at least carve a pumpkin, so last weekend we did that and i even made pumpkin pie, which tasted pretty weird in a nice way!

The weather is unimaginable. I'm genuinely afraid I'll blow away, and i think no tights is not going to work out. I have been lusting for an all black outfit for ages, so when i finally took back that birdy jumper to Dorothy Perkins i got this top, its god lace around the arms which you cant quite see, its such a nice fit and to be honest i'm always impressed with DP and have my eye on a lovely coat atm.

Something Good.

New boots from Dorothy Perkins thanks to the boys student discount, jeans and jumper Top Shop, necklace self made, bag as before.

Now for some recent purchases!

I love this, its so sparkly and lasts for absolutely ages, but its also impossible to get off as the glitter sticks so well.

I'm very unimpressed with these two. I'm at a loss for decent but cheapish eye shadow, the Revlon Colour Stay would be great if there was any colour to stay, its so wishy washy on and the Loreal sort of blends into a colour thats that bit too dark in all even with the lighter one blended in, its not quite colour rich enough either. Got nay suggestions of what i can try? I may bight the bullet and buy the Urban Decay Naked pallete. Has anyone tried that?

Now to these little beauties. I cant believe its btaken me this long to try Burt's Bees lip balm, because its amazing! My lips are so soft! I've tried lip balms before and they always make my lips worse, but this is going to be a keeper.

While in Holland and Barrets i decided to try this, i've read about it before, and must admit heard Millie Mac uses the products. The sales assistant tried to sell me the face cream which was around the £50 mark...so no. But i suffer with breakouts on my shoulders from time to time and it works a treat! It has no smell whatsoever and you only need a tiny bit for good coverage. It zaps the blemish and a couple of days later, was compleley gone. I'm in awe. If i could get my hands on a face cream tester i'd be more than willing to fork out £50

This was £15 in a charity shop. I like the clasp and print.

Primark.

Now. I need a bit of help deciding weather to keep this jumper or not. Its cute but the beading and what no isnt likely to last for more than 5 minutes. I got in on sale at Dorothy Perkins, they were doing 20% off knitwear.

To keep? Or not to keep?

I will Wait.

This was my outfit from saturday. It stopped raining for two minutes so we ventured outside for a little walkie, followed by the pub. naturally.

These boots are the most comfortable things i own, in fact i went out and got another pair as i've scuffed these on country walks. £25 is a steal.

Dress River Island, Primark Belt, New Look Boots, Bag Vintage.

My mid week dinner outfit. I bought this dress on a whim, couldn't really resist as it was only £25 but whilst wearing it i realised the material is a lot like a towel which means it clings to your tights a bit whilst walking, which i find a bit annoying.

Also!

My perfume came an impressive day after i ordered it, which i love as I'm extremely impatient!!

It came in a box and was wrapped in black paper, because I'd spent more than £35 i got to choose 3 mini samples, so i chose two Jouer tinted moisturisers and a Egyptian Magic miracle cream, which i couldn't wait to try but alas as with most things, was rather allergic to it.

Now the perfume itself slightly disappoints. I've tested it on a few people and yes the scent is slightly different on everyone but not much and i wouldn't say it was majorly loved by anyone either, on me it has quite a strong woody scent but on my boyfriend its more floral. I read that after a few minutes i wouldn't smell it on myself but others will, and that's true to a point, i sometimes get a cloud of it and then its gone again, but then i could smell it on my coat a few days after! Its been interesting to try and although i like it, i probably wouldn't buy it again.
