This is one of my favourite dresses, i'm thinking of wearing it to a fancy dinner in a few weeks, i usually live in flats so putting heals on makes it feel a lot more dressy. I also worry i wear too much brown all at once, i dont know how to remedy this.

That is really nice definately something you can wear in the summer for shopping or to a dinner as you said.
You could try some nude heels to break up the browns,but honestly i dont feel the brown is over powering.
I don't think you can ever wear too much brown at once. I went through a short phase of all brown outfits a couple months ago. They're just nice and easy.
